Inflectra Customer Forums: Automated test not starting when executing (Thread)Hi I have set up Spiratest/Selenium/RemoteLaunch on server/computer and when I try to execute a test case in spiratest nothing happens eventhough it is setup to use automated host and test script is saved onto the test script. Should it not trigger remotelaunch and then remotelaunch trigger selenium to run the test script that is saved in the test case? -Reinart en-US(C) Copyright 2006-2024 Inflectra Corporation.support@inflectra.com/Computers/Software/Project_Management//Computers/Software/Quality_Assurance/KronoDesksupport@inflectra.comhttp://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads120/Support/Forum/remotelaunch/issues-questions/44.aspxthreadId=44Reinart Geronimo (reinart.geronimo@brightpoint.com)Automated test not starting when executingHi I have set up Spiratest/Selenium/RemoteLaunch on server/computer and when I try to execute a test case in spiratest nothing happens eventhough it is setup to use automated host and test script is saved onto the test script. RemoteLaunch uses the scheduled date and time to launch tests from. If you need to execute one right away, you will have to download the generated *.tst file and run that using RemoteLaunch. Nothing happens. Please go into the settings and verify the server and user information, then runt test file again" I have checked the connection details and tested the connection and have gotten confirmation that its successfully connected to spiratest, but still I'm getting this error message Tue, 05 Apr 2011 14:39:09 -04002011-04-05T14:39:09-04:00/Support/Forum/remotelaunch/issues-questions/44.aspx#reply94messageId=95Reinart Geronimo (reinart.geronimo@brightpoint.com) Inflectra Support What browser are you using? I'm using firefox with selenium IDE. RemoteLaunch polling doesn't work either. I guess since it says its not connected in the status tab, but then again when i test the connection in the client setup tab it says its connected. When I try force execute I get the status Application is Paused. Any thoughts, ideas what might be wrong and what I can try to do? Here are some When an automated test does not start executing, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some possible causes and troubleshooting steps you can try: Check the test configuration: Ensure that the test is configured correctly with the appropriate test runner or test framework. Make sure that all the necessary dependencies and configurations are in place. Review the test code: Double-check your test code for any errors or issues that might prevent it from executing. Check for syntax errors, missing imports, or incorrect method invocations. Verify the test environment: Ensure that the test environment is properly set up and meets the requirements of the test. Check if the necessary software, libraries, or services are installed and running correctly. Examine the test execution command: Review the command or script used to execute the automated test. Ensure that the command is correctly specified, including any parameters or arguments required. Check for conflicting processes or resources: Make sure there are no other processes or resources that might be conflicting with the test execution. For example, if the test requires exclusive access to a database, hydraulic steering system ensure that no other process is currently using it.
