Hi Herman

Currently we have connectors / plugins for Bugzilla, Mantis, TFS, JIRA, etc. but not one for Redmine. It's in our backlog to release such a plugin, most likely around March/April this year.

Hi Adam,

I've just found this thread searching an option to connect SpiraTest and Redmine.
Right now we're using redmine and we're testing SpiraTest as our quality tool, but in fact for us it's a huge problem not to be able to connect both applications.

You wrote about having a plugin around March/April. Is that date still in mind? Would it be possible to have a beta release for helping you with the testing of the plugin?

Best regards,
Carlos

Hi Adam,

currently we are also evaluating SpiraTest for using it in our company.

Redmine is also a preferred Tool in some of our departments, so it is also for us a mandatory topic that SpiraTest will have a AddIn for Synch functions towards Redmine.

Could you tell me how far you are with the development of the add in, and if the milestone (march - april) is still valid. Maybe there is a exact cw for the release ???

I'm eagerly looking forward to the advent of this plug-in, hopefully it will save us a load of hassle.

Hi Adam,

our software developer is using Redmine and we are considering the introduction of SpiraTest for our UAT.

It is a k.o. criteria for the new test management tool to be able to cooperate with Redmine.

What is the deadline for the development?

Could you please inform me?

Kind regards

Peter Lamm

I checked into this and unfortunately, the plug-in Redmine integration is not going to be available for a least a few more months.  We don't have a better estimate than that, I'm afraid.

Good news! We have just released the beta version of the free plugin for Redmine. It uses the built-in data synchronization capability of SpiraTeam to allow incidents logged in SpiraTeam (or SpiraTest) to be added as new issues in Redmine and vice-versa. In addition, any changes made to a previously-synchronized issue in Redmine will be updated accordingly in SpiraTeam. You can download the plugin from https://www.inflectra.com/SpiraTeam/Downloads.aspx. (Scroll down to the bug tracking section.) The documentation is at https://www.inflectra.com/Documents/SpiraTestPlanTeam%20External%20Bug%20Tracking%20Integration%20Guide.pdf  (Chapter 11).

We encourage you to try it and to send in your feedback. Thank you!

Hi Elise,
It gives me great pleasure to use the free plug-in for Redmine. But, I have a problem about syncing with Redmine. The error logs are as below.

[error log]

at Inflectra.SpiraTest.AddOns.RedmineDataSync.DataSync.ProcessIncident(Int32 projectId, ImportExportClient spiraImportExport, RedmineManager redmineManager, RemoteIncident remoteIncident, List`1 newIncidentMappings, List`1 newReleaseMappings, List`1 oldReleaseMappings, Dictionary`2 customPropertyMappingList, Dictionary`2 customPropertyValueMappingList, RemoteCustomProperty[] incidentCustomProperties, RemoteDataMapping[] incidentMappings, Int32 externalProjectId, String productName, RemoteDataMapping[] severityMappings, RemoteDataMapping[] priorityMappings, RemoteDataMapping[] statusMappings, RemoteDataMapping[] typeMappings, RemoteDataMapping[] userMappings, RemoteDataMapping[] releaseMappings)
   at Inflectra.SpiraTest.AddOns.RedmineDataSync.DataSync.Execute(Nullable`1 lastSyncDate, DateTime serverDateTime)

I have no idea that problem. So, please give me advice. Thank you.
