Im trying to record a simple script for opening and closing a desktop app just to see how scripting works, but with certain apps (ie. Notepad, Acrobat) when I try to run the application, it opens, but the recording screen never pops up.  Any idea why this is happening? There could be so</title><description> Hi Nora,  There are couple of things to check if something like that happens.  1. There could be something in the testing framework that prevents recording. Create completely new testing framework and try recording again.  2. Recording of launching an application may have troubles for some applications so try with notepad.exe, we know it always works.  3. If recording run of the application still does not work, try to run notepad manually and then start recording that attaches to the application. Later you may add Global.DoLaunch to have application launch in your script.
