Inflectra Customer Forums: Assigning Test Sets and Test Case Ownership (Thread) We need a way to know which Test Cases are covered by Testers and which have yet to be assigned. Because we have so many Test Cases, we assign them in the bundled Test Sets instead of going down one by one and assigning them by Test Case. However, by doing it this way the Test Cases don't fill in an owner (your terms for tester). When we go back to add Test Cases to another Test Set we can't tell which are and which aren't already in a Test Set and assigned to a Tester. I'm not sure if this was an oversight of Inflectra, or if there is maybe another way to go about this. If there is, please let us know. If there isn't, I suggest an enhancement that Test Cases in a Test Set automatically add ownership to the Test Cases in the Set. en-US(C) Copyright 2006-2024 Inflectra Corporation.support@inflectra.com/Computers/Software/Project_Management//Computers/Software/Quality_Assurance/KronoDesksupport@inflectra.comhttp://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads120/Support/Forum/spirateam/issues-questions/1107.aspxthreadId=1107Erin Welch (erin.welch@siemens.com)Assigning Test Sets and Test Case Ownership We need a way to know which Test Cases are covered by Testers and which have yet to be assigned. So I see your dilemma. The good news is that there is a standard report called "Test Case Traceability" that gives you that information! Regarding your idea about automatically transferring the test set owner onto its test cases, that would not be feasible. One reason is that each test case can only have one owner, but test cases can be in multiple test sets.
