So lets say I have 3 test cases where the Login and Create new Item steps are all the same(just different input values) and from there each test case does something different. How do I link them all together to run as one test? I dont want to recopy the same code in to all the tests, mostly so I can easily maintain the code. Currently Ive created a stand alone automated test for the Login step Ive also created a stand alone automated test for the CreateItem step. If I link the tests under the Test Steps section of the test case, they are ignored when I go to run the test as automated. Im trying to avoid adding all the tests under a Test Set, since technically they all are a part of one test and I only want one pass/fail status for the entire test. Is there any way to do this? Im using UFT 12.02 and SpiraTeam v5.2

<a10:contributor><a10:email>support@inflectra.com</a10:email></a10:contributor><a10:id>http://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads</a10:id>

How to Use Reusable Automated Scripts

I want to be able to create an automated test case using a reusable test script.
