Inflectra Customer Forums: Are there plans to be able to tie test cases to tasks like we can tie tasks to requirements? (Thread) There appears to be a gap in the feature or I am missing a way to do it. We have requirements with test case creation tasks associated with each requirement. We want to be able to create test case shells and assign these shells to each test case creation task so that the tester can just go to their assigned task, see the associated test case, click on it and start working on that test case. When they are done with the test case, it will be easier to mark the task as completed because you can see that status of the test case that you worked on for that task. Does SpiraTeam have this feature? If not, are there plans to add it?en-US(C) Copyright 2006-2024 Inflectra Corporation.support@inflectra.com/Computers/Software/Project_Management//Computers/Software/Quality_Assurance/KronoDesksupport@inflectra.comhttp://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads120/Support/Forum/spirateam/issues-questions/369.aspxthreadId=369Katrina Hicks (kshy@connecture.com)Are there plans to be able to tie test cases to tasks like we can tie tasks to requirements? Typically you would just create a new test case from the requirement and then assign that to the tester to add the missing information and write the detailed test steps. It was no intended to have the "task" objects be linked to test cases. However what we will be adding is the ability to tie a workflow to test cases so that they will initially created as "Draft" and can have a writing, review and approval cycle associated with them.
