(Thread)

Is there a way to create if/then conditionals inside a test case? For instance, can I do something like the following: if OS_TYPE == Windows then do this test step or part of a test step. else if OS_TYPE == Mac then do something else. When I execute this test case I would set the OS_TYPE parameter to whatever type of operating system I was running. SpiraTeam would then only show me the test step that was appropriate. Is there a way to do this? Or, is something like this planned for the future? Thank you.

<a10:contributor><a10:email>support@inflectra.com</a10:email></a10:contributor><a10:id>http://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads</a10:id>

if/then conditions in test cases?

Is there a way to create if/then conditionals inside a test case? However it is something that we've heard mentioned before and it's being tracked as a potential enhancement in our internal instance of SpiraTeam.

<a10:updated>2011-04-18T13:58:32-04:00</a10:updated>
