Hi,

1. Which SQL Server version is recommended for using with SpiraTeam? SQLExpress or SQL Server 2008 2. Which file types are going to be stored in the DB? Thank you!

<a10:contributor><a10:email>support@inflectra.com</a10:email></a10:contributor><a10:id>http://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads</a10:id>

Recommendation regarding SQL Server

Hi Emir It depends on the size of the installation. SQL Server 2008 Express is provided free with SpiraTeam and is fine with databases upto 4 GB in size. For larger installations you'd need SQL Server 2008 Standard or Enterprise editions. We don't store any of the file attachments in the database to avoid it taking up too much space. It means, everything but attachments will be stored in DB. (requirements, incidents, tasks, etc.)
