Unless I have missed something somewhere, I don't believe it is possible to visualise the Associations of any artefact as a column on the main list view? I would really like to have this feature. Currently we use a custom field that fulfils this purpose and keeping it maintained is a manual task that could ideally be superseded. Is this feature in the Spira Roadmap? Is it even possible? Should it be? What do other users think?

Hi Andy We'd be curious what other users think. We had felt that the amount of data in the Associations tab would be too much to display usefully on the list pages. we would love that too. Additionally, what do you think about an email alert if an associated incident is closed? To the current owner of the other incident that is not yet closed? That would be fab.
Many thanks and best regards

However, we use nesting a lot, and we would want listed associations to include an "artifact path" attribute, and including that artifact path in a column might quickly enlarge the amount of data to be displayed past the point of what is useful. As an alternative to listing the associated items themselves in a column, perhaps each list view row could have some kind of numerical indicator that indicates the number of associated artifacts for each artifact type. So, for example, requirement list rows could have little icons on them. A row could have a little "T5" icon if the requirement has 5 tasks associated with it. Then if the user clicks on the T5 icon, a sub-grid would open up below the requirement row and the sub-grid would display the five related tasks. (This could be infinitely nested, because the tasks would themselves would have icons for their associations.)

<a10:updated>2014-08-20T13:51:56-04:00</a10:updated>

Hi, I also agree that it will be usefull. I am planning a sort of tasks and would like to add associations clarifing which one depends on which. Currently I need to enter in each task and go to associations tab, this is so much manual work that turns the job not viable.

<a10:updated>2021-08-13T20:51:07-04:00</a10:updated>

It would be very useful for us as well.
