Hello, I'm using the hosted trial demo for evaluation. I would like to include an image when documenting single test-steps but, after clicking on the image icon (like the one on this forum) SpiraTest prompts me for a web URL, why? Where should point this URL? I've searched for this topic in the pdf user manual but it is not covered. I would like to provide a sample image to the tester when he/she is executing a test. Obviously, I can write something like " see the attached image abc.jpg " but is less direct than showing the image inside the test-case description itself... Anyway, I've noticed that, when executing a test-step, the area on the screen reserved to display the description is quite small (is larger but thin); so maybe is not the best place to show pictures and your suggestion is more appropriate. Mon, 09 Jan 2012 12:50:33 -05002012-01-09T12:50:33-05:00/Support/Forum/spiratest/issues-questions/228.aspx#reply451messageId=452Nicholas Zebegew (nicholas.zebegew@kineticit.com.au) Hi Giulio, What i do is attach the image as Inflectra have suggested then right click the attachment and select Copy URL, Then i past the URL in the image insert box when it prompts for a URL, This will make the images display in the step box's when executing and You are correct they are small, You can ALT+Click on the box's to make them pop out to full screen, I include this tip in my steps when displaying a large image. Though recently I have increased the size of the box's aswell-as remove the need to press the ALT key to make them full screen. I can provide you with instruction on where to make these changes to spiratest if you wish. Nick.
