Hi, I'm not sure if it's on your roadmap at all, but would it be possible for you to consider adding the ability to add a requirement at test step level as well as at test case. I appreciate this is a major change but it would help the tool comply with a military standard (MIL-STD-498). Most test management tools (if not all) don't seem to do this and we appreciate that. I know we could generate more granular test cases but sometimes this isn't practical. For now we will be adding them at header level to gain from the metrics in the system and are adding a customisable field at test step level, and will run bespoke reports to ensure data integrity with the actual requirements. Thanks Kyle (Emiraje Systems)

<a10:contributor><a10:email>support@inflectra.com</a10:email></a10:contributor><a10:id>http://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads</a10:id>

Adding requirements at test step level

Hi Kyle The ability to link requirements to test steps for test coverage is an open enhancement in our backlog for the product. However as you mentioned, it's a fairly significant change and many users would find that level of traceability too granular to manage. So we don't have any definite timeline available at this stage.
