However, the Legacy Name field did not get populated with anything - it is blank. This seems to preclude us from importing or exporting this field. Is there something we have done wrong in setting up the Multilist or is it not possible to import/export Multilists?

Hi Jeff The multi-list is a new type added in v4.0 and that's why it doesn't have a 'legacy name'. When we release an updated Excel Add-In that handles the newer v4.0 types, you'd be then able to import.
