I installed the excel add-in and all prerequisites according to documentation. Downloaded and opened SpiraImportTemplate for excel. When I go to the add-in and connect I get the following message:

"Unable to connect to Server. The error message was 'The content type text/html of the response message does not match the content type pf the binding (text.xml; charset=utf-8)." My browser access to spiratest works without issue. Please advise. Running Spiratest v4.0 (006).

<a10:contributor><a10:email>support@inflectra.com</a10:email></a10:contributor><a10:id>http://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads</a10:id>

Unable to connect to server with excel 2007 add-in: content type mismatch

Hi Matthew I think you have the URL incorrect, causing it to pull back HTML instead of XML.

Hi Matthew I think you have the URL incorrect, causing it to pull back HTML instead of XML. If that's not the case, please submit a help desk ticket with a screenshot of the Excel connection box including the URL that you are using. Thanks Adam

<a10:updated>2013-08-06T19:22:00-04:00</a10:updated>
