Hello, we have requirements in Spira test but need to reorganize them (i.e. make some of them childs of others - we have 5 levels). Steps we took: 1) Export requirements from Spira to Excel (after downloading the plug-in and the special sheet) 2) Reorganize (moving) rows (= cut and paste) including Increasing idents (Excel functionality at Home ribbon) 3) Import requirements back from Excel to Spira The import runs succesfully but the issue is it does not change the positions of requirements in Spira (= no parents/child changes) We run Spira 4 and Excel 2010 Thanks in advance for any help!

<a10:contributor><a10:email>support@inflectra.com</a10:email></a10:contributor><a10:id>http://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads</a10:id>

Import from Excel does not change hierarchy of requirements (parent/child)

Hi Zdenek The MS-Excel Add-In does not support rearranging the hierarchy of requirements within SpiraTest I'm afraid. You would need to do that inside the web application itself. Hi Adam

Is this because Spira Team creates a new artifact with a new id and organizes this accordingly on the web interface?
