Inflectra Customer Forums: Link to Octopus Deploy to trigger automated testing when deploy is successful (Thread) Hi, Does anyone know of a way to link Octopus Deploy to SpiraTeam so that we can trigger the automated tests to run as soon as a deployment is successful? http://octopusdeploy.com/ The plan: 1. Deploy to the deployment test server using Octopus - which runs unit, build and deployment tests as part of the deployment. 2. If deployment passes - automated smoke and regression tests are triggered 3. If automated smoke and regression tests pass - automated deployment to QA manual test environment is triggered 4. If that deployment is successful - automated smoke and regression tests again run and automated report sent to test team if it passes etc... I want a continuous deployment set up with as much automation as possible to remove human error. en-US(C) Copyright 2006-2024 Inflectra Corporation.support@inflectra.com/Computers/Software/Project_Management//Computers/Software/Quality_Assurance/KronoDesksupport@inflectra.comhttp://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads120/Support/Forum/spirateam/issues-questions/900.aspxthreadId=900Judith Brown (judith.brown@countdown.co.nz)octopus continuous deployment automationLink to Octopus Deploy to trigger automated testing when deploy is successful Hi, Does anyone know of a way to link Octopus Deploy to SpiraTeam so that we can trigger the automated tests to run as soon as a deployment is successful? http://octopusdeploy.com/ The plan: 1. We use this process for our internal continuous build server (Jenkins) where the build calls Rapise and RemoteLaunch command-lines and passes the Test Set ID of the appropriate regression and/or smoke test.
