Inflectra Customer Forums: System Error when trying to edit user (Thread) Hi, We migrated a SpiraTest installation from a server to another by doing a fresh installation and then backing up the database of the old installation and restoring the backup on the new one. The new installation seems to mostly work but if I try to edit a user, I get an error page with text like A system error has occurred... Please click on the My Page link to return to the application . It then instructs to provide the following backtrace when contacting support: Offending URL: __Page Source: System.Data.Entity Message: An error occurred while executing the command definition. See the inner exception for details. Stack trace: at System.Data.EntityClient.EntityCommandDefinition.ExecuteStoreCommands(EntityCommand entityCommand, CommandBehavior behavior) at System.Data.Objects.Internal.ObjectQueryExecutionPlan.Execute[TResultType](ObjectContext context, ObjectParameterCollection parameterValues) at System.Data.Objects.ObjectQuery`1.GetResults(Nullable`1 forMergeOption) at System.Data.Objects.ObjectQuery`1.System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable.GetEnumerator() at System.Linq.Enumerable.SingleOrDefault[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source) at System.Linq.Queryable.SingleOrDefault[TSource](IQueryable`1 source, Expression`1 predicate) at APPLICATION.Business.VaultManager.User_RetrieveWithTaraVault(Int64 userId) at APPLICATION.Web.Administration.UserDetails.LoadAndBindData_TaraVault(Int64 userId) at APPLICATION.Web.Administration.UserDetails.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at APPLICATION.Web.PageLayout.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at APPLICATION.Web.Administration.AdministrationBase.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) Any tips on how to resolve this? Or is there some other, preferred mechanism for migrating to a new server? en-US(C) Copyright 2006-2024 Inflectra Corporation.support@inflectra.com/Computers/Software/Project_Management//Computers/Software/Quality_Assurance/KronoDesksupport@inflectra.comhttp://www.inflectra.com/kronodesk/forums/threads120/Support/Forum/spirateam/issues-questions/1665.aspxthreadId=1665Joonas Sarajarvi (joonas.sarajarvi@ericsson.com)errorSystem Error when trying to edit user Hi, We migrated a SpiraTest installation from a server to another by doing a fresh installation and then backing up the database of the old installation and restoring the backup on the new one.
