test cases in a test set or not, how to know

Hi,

I have following situation:
- a large number of test cases valid for release X
- a large number of test sets, coupled to release X
- The certainty that some test cases for release X are not yet in a test set for release X

how to get a list of these test cases that are valid for release X but not yet in a test set of release X. I don't want a report, I want a filter, so that I can select (some of) these test cases and add them to a test set.
Important here is the selection on the release.
An option would be to wait and see which tests don't get executed. These are probably not in a test set, but that risks that important test cases are executed too late in the campaign.
(to give some numbers: we will end up with about 2000 test cases for a team of 7 testers where the campaign is 6 months)

thanks for giving some suggestions!

Hi Filip

At the present time we only have the Test Case Traceability Report as an option, there are no filters (yet!) available in the system for this purpose. You could use our SOAP API to get all the test cases in a release and then in all the test sets and then compare them.
