Delete a User?

This thread says 'no'. Well...it specifically says to change the Active property OR delete directly from the table - but that's not recommended. Why? Unhandled constraint violations? Something else?

Also, what if I'm using the hosted solution - no access to the table. What then?

What's the latest on how to delete a user?
