Test Result on Linked Scenarios

Hello,

We have created Test Scenarios in SpiraTest (v4.0) using parameters, and we linked them with other scenarios, changing only the values of the parameters.
However, when we record the result of a linked scenario, it immediately alters the result of the parent scenario.
This results the display of the parent scenarios as executed, with no test run information which seems a bit confusing.

Is it possible for the parent scenarios to remain "Not Run" until they are actually executed?
