If you receive an error when using SpiraTest, our support team may ask you for a copy of your server's Event Log. The way to obtain the file is different depending on which Operating System you are running SpiraTest on.

On Windows XP and 2003 Server:

  1. Go Control Panel > Administrative Tools
  2. Click on Event Viewer
  3. Right-click on the Application Log and choose Save As
  4. Save the event log as "Filename.EVT" using the .EVT format
  5. Compress the log in a zipfile
  6. Email it to Inflectra Support
