Rapise is designed to work when the test folders being created / saved are stored on a local drive of your workstation (e.g. C:\) due to the way Windows security permissions are enforced, if you save your test to a network share (e.g. \\myserver\Users\Documents\xxxx) it may result in these symptoms:

  • When you click Record and generate actions, upon clicking [Finish] the test script and object tree are not populated
  • When you try and play a test, nothing happens and no Report is displayed/created.

The solution is to move your test folders back to a local folder and then use SpiraTest or SpiraTeam to store/manage the test cases rather than a network drive.
