Can Leaf nodes be found using a regular expression?

I have a tree object that can have 1 or more leaf nodes. Depending on which patform the test runs, the leaf node name will have some common text. Can I search for the leaf node name using a reagular expression, and if so how do I do it?

One may search for a node using XPATH.
