Task Resequencing

While I've received timely responses from the support team I'm inquiring how others that are using the software have dealt with the following situation.

What have users been doing when they enter tasks and need to resequence them?

For example, I enter Task A, Task B, then Task C but realize Task C has to happen between A and B.  The support team suggested that the dates of the tasks be modified, but what happens when the three tasks are scheduled or entered on the same day?

I know in a future release there will be the possibility of task dependencies and sub-tasks but what are people doing now to handle this situation?

Thanks for any insight that can be provided.

We need to be able to shuffle tasks around as well.  Is this planned for 4.0?

Just a couple of thoughts for a manual workaround on this task challenge: Use the priority field (unless the tasks are all the same priority); Use the comments field to note an order of task execution change; Create a Custom properties list that allows the project to identify a more detailed breakdown of the order of task execution (however you want to define this).
