Hello!

Does anyone know if there is a way to move test sets from one product to another? Would be similar to the Export function for test cases.

Thanks!

DavidKrings, we have similar issue. But we want not copying but linkeage or shortcuts to use the same test entities in defferent projects.

See please my request: Include a tesCase from one project into a testSet in another - Inflect (inflectra.com)

Dear David,

Export a Test Set to another product functionality is now available starting from Spira v.8.12
This will copy the Test Set along with its Test Cases and Test Steps. In case any of the Test Cases have a linked Test Step, they will also be copied to the destination product. Parameters will also be exported.

Please note that:

  • Copied Test Cases are placed in a folder named after the Test Set token ([TX:123])
  • If you export the same Test Set more than once, it will get duplicated in the destination product as it will its test cases
  • These properties of the Test Set are not exported: Automation Host, Test Configuration
  • The cross-product Test Cases of the Test Set are not exported

For more information please refer to the documentation here: https://spiradoc.inflectra.com/Spira-User-Manual/Test-Set-Management/#exporting-a-test-set-to-a-different-product
