Updating Effort in Task | Schedule

We are having problems adding / modifying the Effort text fields (Est / Actual / Remaining) under the Task | Schedule tab. Are others also having this issue? Does anyone have a work-around or trick? We are using Firefox and Chrome.

Discovered an easier solution for assigned task users to enter their hours. This is through the My Page | My Timecard page. Users are still complaining about the text box entry Effort fields. It appears that the user needs to click right of the '.' and enter value or left of '.' for decimal values. This text entry is cumbersome.

Really, the Effort text fields in task ou um Timecard are horrible. If we type a wrong value and need to delete this at fields, the delete key or the diretional keys to navigate don´t have function.

We need to put the 0(zero) number over the value.

P.S.: The delete and backspace keys don´t work. Diretional navigation keys work.
