Requirment structure

I'd like to get feedback on how others within this group are structuring their Requirements.

Here are the options:

1) creating Requirement that contains detailed description in Description area along with attaching any image documents (powerpoint, word, html).

2) creating Requirement that contains brief description in Description area and link to file server that has detailed documents (text and image)

3) creating a Document Reference Requirement under Parent Folder Requirement that contains brief description in Description area and link to file server that has detailed documents (text and image).  Then add Children Requirements that contain brief description along with link to Document Reference Requirement

4) other; please reply with details

We used option 1) on our last project but found it hard for updating requirement.  We are thinking about option 3) for next project.  This will give us one central location for updating documents along with not duplicating detailed descriptions or documents into the children requirements.

Thanks,

Brad

Anyone have any recommendations for Brad?

Most of the customers that we've worked with have used option (1) if that's any guidance... The central document view (Planning > Documents) is available so that you can centrally update the requirements.

Adam
