IE10 & SpiraTeam 4.0 (009) - Issues w/Attaching Files & Saving Comments in Test Runs, Tasks

Hi,

We are using IE10 & SpiraTeam 4.0 (009).  In the past week or so, multiple users have reported to me that IE crashes when they try to:
  1. Attach files to requirements
  2. Save comments in test runs or tasks


Steps to reproduce 1:

  1. Enter a previously saved requirement
  2. Click on "Attachments"
  3. Click "Add New"
  4. IE Crashes.  There is not a specific error message.

Steps to reproduce 2:

  1. Enter a previously saved task (or any test run that is in progress)
  2. Enter a comment.
  3. Click "Save"
  4. IE Crashes.  There is not a specific error message.


Are these issues something you are aware of?  Both of these bugs are affecting the productivity of multiple groups within our organization.  Is there a setting in IE that needs to be checked off to avoid this?  Is there a patch you have come out with to address these issues?

We're not aware of any issues using SpiraTeam v4.0 under IE10, in fact most of our internal machines are now running it fine.

However some suggestions:

1) For case 1 make sure you have a recent version of Java installed that is compatible with IE10 (since screenshot capture uses Java).

2) For case 2, try running IE10 in SafeMode (no add-ons) to see if that works. If so, narrow down the IE10 add-ons one by one and let us know which one caused the issue.
