Updating RQ's name + sorting of RQs

Hi,

I'm evaluating a trial version of SpiraTeam (version 4.0) and have to ask you about 2 issues I have discovered:
1) When updating an existing requirement's name in Requirement details view then pressing Save button, the change is not reflected in RQs' tree view in the left section. Pls. see details below:

2) I'm wondering is it possible in any way to sort the list of requirements? Well there is nice filtering option but what about sorting? The point here is to have the RQs sorted according to importance (that's the main principle of product backlog for example). Sorting according to Status would make sense as well...

Many thanks for reply!
BR,
Petr

Hi Petr

Regarding your questions:

1) The latest version (v4.1) fixes the issue whereby the icon and title of the screen doesn't change when you save it. For the treeview, we have added a small refresh icon that makes it clear that you need to refresh the treeview if you want to resync it.

2) The requirements can be absolutely positioned (drag and drop) so there is no way (currently) to do a temporary sort. However we are going to be adding ways to do a permanent sort of requirement branch. In the planning board, the requirements are sorted by priority.

Hi Sarah,

I was wondering whether you could let me know whether you could provide an update on the progress with regard to the development of the 'sort' feature described above. We have just started using Spiratest for requirements management and a question has been raised about sorting requirements on the Planning board.

We are using Spiratest v4.2.0.12.

Kind regards,

Randal
