Task progress tracking in Online demo version RSS Feed

Wednesday, June 15, 2011
I'm evaluating SpiraTeam via the online demo version, and I was concerned that when you select Tracking > Tasks and you view a chosen Task you cannot see the time spent being automatically reduced. You seem to be able to ADD more time to raise the estimate/projected time, but you can't see the time spent going down! Have I been looking in the wrong place? Or is the functionality in the Online Demo simply limited and hence it doesn't do this?

Do you mean on the "My Timecard" page or on the individual tasks page? On the individual tasks page you can enter the Remaining Effort and Actual Effort. The actual effort is simply the amount of time expended and can be increased or reduced from its original value.

I think it was my mistake. I can see the difference now between 'Timecard' and 'Task management' features.
