I am looking for adding about 2-3 custom cover pages with some details on top of Spira reports, If anybody tried please help me with this.
Thanks in advance .
The question is how dynamic the content of those cover pages should be? If they are the same for all documents, I'd recommend tweaking the basic docx template used to generate Word docs (I think that requires an on premise Spira since you need to be able to modify that template on the server)
This can be used for things like company logo, standard headers and footers, table of contents, etc. But also basic style definitions.
If you need dynamic data from Spira (like author, doc title, publish date, authorizers, ...) you should include the word formatting in a separate section of the report template in Spira itself. The downside of this is that if you have multiple document types/templates, you will need to include copies of the header page layout for each document type individually since there is no way currently to share XSLT fragments between document types....
