How to identify test cases, that are not assigned to a release

Hi there,

I am looking for an easy way to identify the test cases, that are not assigned to a relase for the purpose of mass-assigning them with "tools". Unfortunately, there is no column in test cases on which I could filter on, there is just the drop down to restrict selection to a particular release or all releases, but not for not assigned ones.
I have tried "Test Case Detailed Report" with details on "Release" but there are the same selection restrictions as mentioned above.
Any ideas?

Hmmm... that is a known limitation that we plan on addressing.

You'd probably have to use the Test Case Traceability Matrix report, but even that would be a bit tricky I'm afraid.
