Changing Requirement workflow step names

No I'm afraid not.

You can change the requirement importances/priorities and types but not the statuses.

We did however add some additional ones that you can include in your workflows

Yep, cutomization of workflows:

• Custom status names everywhere adding more/deleting existing,
• Custom order in filter drop-down on the list view
• Custom order on the Board

is also needed for our company.

Agree that this is very basic function, I need to adapt my process to the tool and the tool can not be adapted to my process.

Can you prioritize this?
