Editing test steps whilst executing

Hi all

Does anyone know if it's possible to edit test steps whilst you are executing?  SpiraTest doesn't seem to allow this, which is a shame as it would be handy to edit steps if required whilst executing rather than have to remember what the changes were and go back and edit the test case after the run.

Hi Jane

I'm afraid that SpiraTest doesn't have this functionality at present, you cannot change the live test case while executing it.

While running tests, I right click on Testing and select 'open in a new tab'. Thus, I can switch between execution tab and the Test Cases tab to edit test case steps as I'm going rather than trying to remember to fix things later.

And how do you edit the wording of the steps from there while they are being executed?

Since this thread was published, we now have Exploratory Mode that does let you edit the tests during execution:
