we would like to reinstall Spira V3.0 on a PC having SQL Server 2005 Express preinstalled.
During the installation "in sysdatabases no entry was found for database SpiraTeam" occurs,
the installation is then stopped.
The error appeared also after a complete reinstallation of SQLServer. Any idea ?
Usually that means it could not create the database successfully.
Can you verify that the database user that you are using is either the SA account, a Windows Administrator (if using Windows Authentication) or an SA-equivalent account.
Also if you open up C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\Inflectra you will see an installation log for the system. Are there any errors messages in the log file?
Sorry, I put this thread in the wrong forum, it concerns SpiraTeam, could you move it ? Otherwise I can reenter it in the SpiraTeam Section. Maybe that's why I haven't found the logfile dir you indicated to me?
In the meantime, some additional info: I configure the windows authentication option on creating the database. Using the SqlServer Management Studio Express I'm able to create any SQL Server DB
with this account. Until some week ago I have been able to install Spira, so I'm wondering what goes wrong now?
This hint was efficient, thanks:
