Including test steps in incidents raised on failed test run

Hi,

We are using SpiraTest to execute test runs, and as a result of a failed test we are using the automatically raised incidents to integrate with Jira to then pass to the developers to co-ordinate bug fixes. The problem we are currently having is that the raised incident includes only expected result and actual result, so it is not clear to the developers viewing the issue in Jira how to reproduce the bug without having to navigate through to SpiraTest and then to the test run associated with the incident.

In order to provide the developers with steps to reproduce the issue without the need to navigate through to the test run details, is it possible to configure raised incidents to automatically include the test steps as well as the expected and actual result?

Thanks,

Chris.

Hi Chris

The good news is that we rectified this deficiency in the recently release SpiraTest v4.0. If you upgrade your installation, all the new incidents raised will have the full list of test steps in the incident description.

Adam
