How do I specify which information are incorporated into an incident description, if raised during test case execution? RSS Feed

Friday, March 8, 2013

As default, if raise a bug while executing test case, the bug will have following information in description:

  • Description
  • Expected Result
  • Actual Result
  • Test run steps

What I miss here, is the Test Case description (the 'Description' refers to the Test Step description) - as this would add a context to the issue (in a way we've designed the test cases). Is there any way to configure this within the SpiraTest? If not, can we somehow tweak it?

Hi Radoslaw

I'm afraid it's not currently customizable. We do however add a link from the incident (via. the Associations tab) back to the Test Run that does provide the test case description.
