Import From Excel, Force a Carriage Return

Hello,

I am using the Requirements tab in the Excel export template to import requirements into SpiraTest v4.0. For column C (Requirement Description) I have celss with mulitple lines of text (i.e., there is a carriage return after each line of text). When this imports into SpiraTest the carriage returns are lost. Is there a method, such as a special character, that I can use to force the carriage returns to be retained when the text is imported into SpiraTest?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Hi Dave

Absolutely, just use the <br /> HTML tag.

Thanks Adam (I should have figured that one out myself). Just tried and it worked perfect.
