Could you clarify if you'd like the User custom field to dynamically filter users based on their team membership, or would you prefer a static selection of specific teams for each custom field?

That's a fantastic idea! Having the ability to restrict the "user" type custom field to specific Teams would definitely improve organization and prevent accidental misassignments. It would ensure that when you're assigning a "Test Manager" or "Project Manager," the selection is limited to the relevant team members.

That’s an interesting point, Colin. I’m curious — do you think this restriction should also apply when assigning users to defects or tasks, not just requirements? It might help standardize workflows across modules.
