Calendar events and ticket aging

We would like to schedule recurring tickets/events such that our Support folks could have a monthly task scheduled, perhaps in the form of a ticket.  Also, could we escalate tickets to another support person, supervisor, when it "ages" out and hasn't been closed after a predetermined time.
