Hi guys,
we want to start using Spira for our tests and for the test I run RemoteLunch on VM with win 2008R2-64 (most common OS for our users). but there is a small problem, Spira can't see project credentials, for example:
Exception: Unable to find the specified element. Project: SQLSERVERTEST2, UnitName: DataDrivenTestFunctions, RoutineName: LetsTheFunBeginsMuhahahahahaha
path for project is fine, and all file existing and run just fine without Spira. Can you please guide me that possible problems could occurred and how can I fix it.
thnx for you time.
Hi Igor
It sounds like routine name or unit name are not matching what is expected by TestComplete.
Regards
Jim
The Spira "Unable to find specified element" error, often linked to "project credentials," typically indicates a **permissions or environment issue** on your VM when RemoteLaunch executes tests. Ensure the **RemoteLaunch Agent's user account has full read/execute permissions** for your test project files and directories. Also, explicitly **configure the mcdvoice correct working directory** for the automation host, verify all necessary **environment variables** are set at the system level, and confirm your test's **configuration files** are accessible and correctly parsed within the agent's execution context.
