There are times when executing a Test Set that after it's Finished, it shows status 'Deferred' instead of 'Complete'.  What does 'Deferred' Status mean after executing Test Set?

It means that the tester clicked PAUSE on the test case and hasn't yet clicked Resume and then FINISH. Ask your tester to see if they have any items listed under "My Pending Test Runs"

Is there any intention to make such Test Runs visible in the Test Run view?

Currently, you can view Test Set Status at any time and know that it accurately reflects the status of the very latest Run (eg "In progress")... however if you go to the Test Run view then there is no corresponding entry shown in any status.

This can be annoying, and in our organisation just a visual check of Test Run status would be an ideal tool for progress reporting.

It is something in our backlog for future releases, but it hasn't been assigned a specific release yet.
