Change the order of workflow steps for Requirements

Is there a way to change the order of the workflow steps for Requirements?  I'm using some of the options that were  not defaulted to a transition (i.e. Design in Progress).  The transitions work correctly, but the order of the display on the Requirements List screen when you try to edit the Status field doesn't make any sense.  Thanks!
