Hi,
I’d like to ask if there’s a way to filter test cases by owner within a Test Set in SpiraPlan. If this functionality isn’t currently available, could you kindly suggest any possible workarounds to achieve similar results?
Thank you!
Hello,
SpiraPlan doesn’t currently support filtering test cases by owner directly within a Test Set. As a workaround, you can: - Use the Test Case list view to filter by owner, then manually add relevant cases to your Test Set. - Tag test cases with a custom property (e.g., owner name) and filter using that.
Hope that helps streamline your workflow!Best Regards,Thomas Henry
Unfortunately, this is not currently possible to sort or filter test set's test cases by owner.
Instead, you can use an exporting options to filter and sort the items in the grid. For that, use a Tool -> Export to Excel option. Here you can read more about that: https://spiradoc.inflectra.com/Spira-User-Manual/Test-Set-Management/#overview-test-cases
You can also use a custom reports: please refer to our Knowledge Base article about Graphical illustration of the Number of Test Cases by Owners within a Test Set
