I am just wondering if there is an attachment size limit for Spirateam and if there is a limit on the number of attachments that can be added to 1 test case.

There was a limit to the attachment size in v3.2 when running on IIS7 only. It was removed in v4.0. It used to be 30 MB (see http://www.webtrenches.com/post.cfm/iis7-file-upload-size-limits)
There is no limit to the number of attachments.
