Enhancement Request: On Detail Edit page, improve left-hand-side tree's ability to focus on the requirement

Wednesday, August 20, 2014
When we are viewing or editing a specific requirement, the left-hand-side tree provides very valuable contextual information.

Unfortunately, as our list of requirements has grown, the left-hand-side tree is not keeping up.  That tree has a "Show X Rows" filter at the bottom of it.  If it is set to display 200 rows, but our requirement is beyond that number (like if it is requirement 201), then our requirement is not displayed and not focused-on in the tree.  As a result, we sometimes struggle to remember the context of the requirement we are editing because that context is not visible.

So, please improve that left-hand-side tree's ability to focus on the requirement.  Perhaps, when counting the rows for the tree, don't count items that are collapsed, and always collapse any unnecessary parts of the tree when loading the page.

On the other hand, if I'm missing something about how things are supposed to work then please do let me know.  Thanks

Hi Jon

We're planning on adding the 'Show X Rows' dropdown list to the navigation bar to match the one on the main list page.
