How to execute "Testcomplete "scripts from the Spiratest.

yes i followed the steps mentioned in the document.But i am unable to run the script .

Please guide me step by step how to run the test scripts of TestComplete from spiratest?

I followed below steps:

 

1.Opened the spiratest and successfully added the automation engine as "TestComplete8" and it displying in the dropdown as well in the testscript creation.

2.In the Setting up the Automated Test Cases 

selected the script type as "Linked"

file name as :given the path of the testcomplete's .pjs |Project Name|Project Item Name saved .

3.created one "test set " ,in that selcted the created Automation host ,status as "InProgress" ,type as "Automated".After added earlier created test and clicked on "Ecexute Tests".But its not executiong pls help how can i ?

Change the type to "Not Started"

Then inside RemoteLaunch, click on the "Force Poll" button to ask it to poll upcoming test sets. It should display your test set in the list. Does that happen?

yes,i did that status as "Not Stared" and clicked the "Force Poll" in the Remote Launch .But i did not get the list of the Test sets in the Remote Launch.

Plse suggest waht iam missing to exceute the testcase.

Could you please contact us directly through the Support > Help Desk or just send an email to support@inflectra.com with a screenshot the Test Case and Test Set as configured in SpiraTest. That will allow us to help your more directly!

Hi, I've had problems as well with executing recorded test items. The workaround for me was to generate a script from the recorded keyword test and to refer to the actual script function from SpiraTest.

So I had to define the input parameters as follows:

<Path to project suite file>|<project name>|<Unit name>|Routine name
