Accessibility issue with Test Case "Save and New" step button

Hi,

I've encountered this issue, already in SpiraTest 5.0 and now in 5.1 too.

When user is adding new test cases step and uses Tab key to jump through text boxes to "Save and New" button, pressing enter doesn't launch proper action.  It only saves the step, doesn't open adding new one.

Steps to reproduce:

  1.  Login to Spira, open some Test case.
  2. In Test Steps section, click on Insert Step button.
  3. Type some text in the Description field.
  4. Then press Tab key - cursor jumps to Expected Result test (which is correct)
  5. Press Tab key twice now - the Save and New button is highlighted.
  6. Press Enter - test step is saved, though new one is not inserted. Clicking on the button works as expected though.

Please fix this issue as it is pretty big annoyance for keyboard users who like to type long tests without having to reach for mouse.

Hi Filip

We have an event handler that captures the ENTER key and always fires the SAVE event, regardless of the focus, in the same way that ESC key fires the cancel event, regardless of the focus. I have logged a suggestion for our development team to maybe make SHIFT+ENTER (or something similar fire the SAVE and NEW).

Jim

I am also a keyboard user.  Please add the ability to use the keyboard to Save and New.

Thank you
