Automatic Removal of Followers of Artifacts

When I remove a user from a SpiraTest  product, they continue to receive emails when an artifact they were following is updated.  If I have removed them from the product, I would expect them to stop receiving any information (i.e. notifications) about the artifacts within that product (not least of all for security reasons when working with sensitive data).

I am aware I can manually remove them as a follower, but I would have to review every artifact within the product in order to completely remove them, which just isn't practical.

Hello Luke,

At this moment, this works as designed - when user is active in the system and subscribed to the artifact, it will be able to get notifications even if not a member of the product.
The only solution is to manually remove the user from the artifact subscription, I'm afraid.

If you like, I can log this as an enhancement request, however with no scheduled release or date of implementation.

Yes please Victoria, even if its just an option to turn it on and off, rather than a complete change in functionality. Thank you!
