I am trying to use the method
https://www.inflectra.com/SpiraDemo/Services/v4_0/ImportExport.aspx?operation=TestRun_RecordAutomated3 from C#.

Once called it never returns and times out. I can see from the web interface that all the test runs in the test set are created but it does not return.

Any ideas?

The TestRun_RecordAutomated3 function records the passed-in test runs and then does a full-project refresh of the requirements and releases in the project, so that they update their cached test status information. This second part can take a while and may continue to run after the web service has timed out. So it may not return back in this case.
