We are using Jira v5.2.11 and SpiraTest v4.0.

The synchronization with JIRA generates the following exception:

General Error: There is an error in XML document (178, 285).
at System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer.Deserialize(XmlReader xmlReader, String encodingStyle, XmlDeserializationEvents events)
at System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer.Deserialize(XmlReader xmlReader, String encodingStyle)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)
at Inflectra.SpiraTest.PlugIns.Jira4DataSync.JiraSoapService.JiraSoapServiceService.getIssuesFromJqlSearch(String in0, String in1, Int32 in2)
at Inflectra.SpiraTest.PlugIns.Jira4DataSync.DataSync.Execute(Nullable`1 lastSyncDate, DateTime serverDateTime)

Any idea what the reason could be?

Hi Roland

It looks like you're using the JIRA 4.x plugin, I would switch to our newer JIRA 5.x+ plugin that uses the newer JIRA REST API (instead of SOAP) and if you still get issues, send a copy of the error message to support@inflectra.com (or use the help desk link above).

Regards

Jim
